Clean the removable filter
Follow the owner's manual to remove and rinse the customer-accessible filter. Do not reach blindly into the sump where glass may be present.
Finish a canceled cycle
Many models run the drain pump for a minute or two after Cancel or Reset. Close the door and allow that cycle to finish.
Check the sink and air gap
A backed-up sink or clogged countertop air gap can prevent dishwasher drainage. Clear only parts intended for homeowner access.
Inspect the visible drain hose
Look under the sink for a hose that was kinked or crushed during recent plumbing work.
